TRASH CAN TOPPERS
An urban micro-garden installation on top of Portland trash cans—fabricated by local artist Nate Deyesso. Each trash features a different plant or vegetable.
GIANT PLANT TAGS
Giant plant labels were placed in areas around Portland that have beautiful flowers and gardens. Topsoil compost was donated by Garbage to Garden.
FRUIT & VEGETABLE STICKERS
Little stickers were placed on fruit at the local Farmers Market to educate buyers about Garbage to Garden and encourage them to sign up.
We partnered with Allagash beer to create compost-able coasters and distributed these throughout local bars and tap houses to tell the story of the two businesses working together to make Portland a greener city.
A poster contest where Portland area students were encouraged create posters on compost-able recycled Paper.
Given away with buckets and at events. Encouraging people to join in on the fun.
